Officers Locate Drugs and Paraphernalia with Search Warrant

On Tuesday August 5, 2008 officers of the North Vernon Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Team served a search warrant at Apartment 69 in the Senior Housing Edition on Henry Street.

The lead officer conducted an investigation which led to a search warrant being issued for the apartment Tuesday.

Breque Buyrse, 52, of North Vernon was Arrested at the apartment and taken to the Jennings County Jail. Mr Buyrse was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (B Felony), Possession of Marijuana, Illegal Possession of Ephedrine, Possession of Precursors, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Officers located Methamphetamine, Marijuana, a large quantity of Ephedrine, and a large amount of drug related paraphernalia inside the apartment.
