Russell C. Ballard Arrested for Battery & Neglect of Dependent

On Wednesday, March 28th, at approximately 2:45pm, officers of the North Vernon Police Department went to an address on College Street to serve an Arrest Warrant on Russell C. Ballard, 38, of North Vernon. Mr. Ballard was arrested without incident.

The warrants were issued following an investigation by the North Vernon Police Department in which a 2 year old Juvenile member of Mr. Ballard's home was reported as a Battery Victim. Mr. Ballard is currently being held on the charges of Battery on a Minor Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (B Felony) and Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (B Felony). Bond was listed at $75, 500.
