On March 18, 2007 at about 5:37pm, Brian E. Short was Arrested for Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine over 3 grams and, along with Possession of a Handgun, Possession of Marijuana, and an active Body Attachment for Child Support.

While on routine patrol, Officer Andrew Richmond initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Mr. Short. It was found Mr. Short had an active Body Attachment and he was Arrested. The amount owed on the Warrant listed was approximately $4700. The vehicle he was driving was searched after his arrest. Sergeant Craig Kipper arrived at the scene and assisted with the arrest. During the search the following was found: about 11 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine and numerous items of Paraphernalia including a drug ledger, digital scales and smoking pipe, and a .380 Handgun.

Mr. Short is currently being charged with an A Felony for Dealing Methamphetamine, a C Felony for Possession of Methamphetamine, 2 A Misdemeanors for Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia, and Body Attachment for Child Support.
