Marijuana Recovery

On Saturday June 10, 2006 at approximately 06:10 am North Vernon Police Officer Jason L. Allen and Jennings County Deputy Manuel Becker recovered three 36" tall marijuana plants that were found growing behind a residence located on Huntington Way.

Country Squire Lake Security Supervisor William Barnes advised Officers that he received an anonymous tip advising him of the possible location of some marijuana plants. The source would not leave their name but advised the exact location of the marijuana. The marijuana was located in a public access area referred to as the “Greenway” and is owned by the C.S.L. association.
