Couple Arrested for Meth, Marijuana, and Pills

On June 7th, 2006, at about 5:00 PM, officers of the North Vernon Drug Investigation Team and Emergency Response Team served a search warrant at 3945 North County Road 550 East in Butlerville in Jennings County. Officers took Chad A. Leeth, 30, and Christina A. Ramey, 32, into cusotdy without incident.
Officer Brandy Blevins of the Drug Investigation Team received confidential information which led to her being able to obtain a search warrant for the home in Butlerville. When officers arrived at the home, they took Mr. Leeth and Ms. Ramey into custody quickly. Two children also present were turned over to the care of Jennings County Child Protective Services. Officers searched the home and located an unspecified amount of Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Prescription Pills, plastic baggies, digital scales, an unspecified amount of cash and a firearm.
Chad Leeth was arrested and charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Fleony, Possession of Methamphetamine, D Felony, Possession of a Legend Drug (Prescription Pills), a D Felony, Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor, and Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia, A Misdemenaor.
Christina Ramey was arrested and charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, D Felony, Possession of a Legend Drug (Prescription Pills), a D Felony, Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor, and Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia, A Misdemeanor.
Officers involved in this investigation include: Lt. James Webster, Sgt. Mike Piirto, Officer Brandy Blevins, Detective Randall Marshall, Detective Brian Taylor, Officer Jason Allen, Officer Randy Miller, Officer Keith Messer, Officer Craig Kipper, and Officer Aaron Green and Officer Andrew Richmond.
